Entrancing Dance Talent ARUNA To Release New EP ‘What If / Sunrise’ This Friday!

Since the mid-2000’s LA-based ARUNA has made a lasting imprint, following career-breaking success spurring from hit collaborations with Ferry Corsten & Armin van Buuren, and self-penning hits for some of the world’s global superstars, including the RIAA®-certified triple platinum selling ‘Hannah Montana’ soundtrack for Miley Cyrus.

Following the release of her exceptional debut mix compilation album ‘The Hot List, Vol. 1,’ which peaked at #36 on the iTunes Dance Top 200, Aruna delivers a timely dose of two new self-produced singles, set for a February 5th EP release on Enhanced Music.

With 2015 spent hard at work in the studio, Aruna’s newest records ‘What If‘ & ‘Sunrise‘ position the seasoned producer/DJ/vocalist at the forefront of a new fusion of melodic trance with progressive house flavors. ‘What If’ opens the EP and sees Aruna teaming up with ever-present duo Ost & Meyer in an anthemic production merging Aruna’s infectious, emotive vocals with an unmistakable, chugging energy to form an emphatic opener.

Sunrise‘ ties up the release with a techy yet summery combination of flexing basslines and sunsoaked chords perfectly matched next to another helping of sublime vocals from Aruna. Teaming up with Aerosoul, ‘Sunrise’ showcases the musical voice of both producers to create a nicely balanced, uplifting chunk of melodic Progressive House peppered with subtle deep house textures.

The Berklee College of Music grad is back and better than ever with this finely crafted two-song journey into her ever-evolving, boundary-blurring signature sound. The release of the ‘What If / Sunrise’ EP further cements Aruna’s impending legacy as one of the most successful female artists in dance music today. Be sure to add this EP to your sonic arsenal tomorrow, Friday, the 5th of February via Enhanced Music and Beatport.
